A Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte (PBH) vai emitir autorização de tráfego (AT) para a inclusão de mais 33 ônibus na frota do transporte coletivo municipal – totalizando 413 veículos novos com ar-condicionado, suspensão a ar e acessibilidade. A renovação dos ônibus é uma exigência da PBH prevista na Lei 11.458/23, que estabeleceu um prazo até dezembro para que as empresas adquirissem 420 unidades. Deste total, 380 já estão cadastrados na Superintendência de Mobilidade do Município (SUMOB) e estão circulando nas ruas de Belo Horizonte.
A Lei 11.458/23, sancionada em julho pelo prefeito Fuad Noman, trouxe uma série de melhorias ao serviço de mobilidade prestado ao cidadão, modernizando o sistema de transporte público com a criação do mecanismo de remuneração complementar, possibilitando um transporte com mais qualidade e redução do preço da tarifa de R$ 6 para R$ 4,50 – mesmo valor praticado desde 2018.
Os novos ônibus estão recebendo uma plotagem especial na traseira, com numeração de cada um dos veículos entregues para a cidade, permitindo que a população acompanhe a renovação da frota. Até o final do ano a operação de transporte coletivo vai ganhar 2.170 viagens em relação ao que era realizado até 2022. Com mais viagens principalmente nos horários de pico, a superlotação nos ônibus será reduzida.
Gratuidades
Os esforços da prefeitura de Belo Horizonte também contemplam gratuidades para a população. Já estão disponíveis o Vale-Transporte de Saúde, concedido prioritariamente para pacientes oncológicos e acompanhantes que precisam se deslocar para consultas e procedimentos médicos em hospitais habilitados ao Sistema Único de Saúde.
Há ainda o Auxílio Transporte Mulher, concedido às mulheres em situação de violência doméstica, e o Auxílio de Transporte Escolar, que atende cerca de 6 mil estudantes do município com gratuidade nos ônibus.
Outra importante implementação foi a tarifa zero nas linhas de vilas e favelas. O Auxílio de Transporte Social, em fase de regulamentação, vai beneficiar famílias em situação de extrema vulnerabilidade social e econômica, garantindo o deslocamento e o acesso ao serviço público de transporte coletivo convencional e suplementar no município.
Aumento da fiscalização
A Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte ainda intensificou a fiscalização do transporte público. Neste ano já foram realizadas 1.874 operações de fiscalizações e os ônibus foram inspecionados 20.309 vezes. As equipes da Superintendência de Mobilidade do Município (Sumob) e da BHTrans fazem ações de fiscalização nas estações, ao longo dos itinerários nas vias, e também pelas câmeras do COP-BH.
Todas as viagens são acompanhadas em tempo real, por meio de monitoramento eletrônico. Quando são constatados atrasos e omissões e os critérios de confiabilidade e qualidade não são atendidos, os consórcios não recebem a remuneração complementar pela viagem.
