A Semana Santa é um período de feriado prolongado que costuma movimentar muito o tráfego nas estradas brasileiras. A concessionária EcoRioMinas, responsável pela administração do sistema rodoviário entre o Rio de Janeiro e Governador Valadares (MG), projeta um fluxo de aproximadamente 328 mil veículos entre os dias 06 e 10 de abril.
A EcoRioMinas estará preparada para garantir a segurança e o bem-estar dos usuários durante o feriado, com equipes de atendimento mecânico, inspeção de tráfego e reforço operacional nas praças de pedágio. Além disso, equipes médicas também estarão disponíveis nos demais trechos da rodovia.
Para garantir a fluidez do tráfego, os papa-filas (arrecadadores volantes) estarão agilizando a passagem nos horários de maior movimento, e o usuário também poderá optar pelo pagamento por aproximação com cartões de débito e crédito. As obras em andamento na Serra de Teresópolis continuarão sendo executadas, mas serão realizadas com sinalização de estreitamento de faixa para garantir maior fluidez e segurança.
Antes de pegar a estrada, é importante que os motoristas fiquem atentos às condições de trânsito, que podem ser acompanhadas pelo Twitter @ecoriominas, site e pelo Instagram @ecoriominas. Em caso de dúvidas ou emergências, os usuários podem ligar para os números 0800 116 0493 e 0800 116 0465 para deficientes auditivos, que funcionam 24 horas por dia.
A EcoRioMinas realiza obras de recuperação do pavimento na BR-116, no trecho da Serra de Teresópolis, entre o km 89 e km 104 e as intervenções ocorrem nos dois sentidos da via. No entanto, em feriados prolongados, a operação “pare e siga” será eliminada e as obras serão realizadas com sinalização de estreitamento de faixa, para garantir maior fluidez e segurança aos usuários da rodovia.
