A Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte concluiu nesta semana a fiscalização em todas as 34 empresas que compõem o sistema municipal de transporte coletivo. A medida, parte da política de Tolerância Zero, teve início em 26 de fevereiro e percorreu as 29 garagens do sistema. Durante esse período, as equipes de fiscalização, compostas por agentes da Sumob, BHTrans e Guarda Municipal, abordaram 198 veículos, emitiram 361 autuações, apreenderam 59 Autorizações de Tráfego (AT) e recolheram três veículos ao pátio. Elevadores com defeito e freio de porta inoperante foram as principais irregularidades encontradas.
Um dos resultados mais importantes da operação foi a redução significativa no número de veículos operando sem Autorização de Tráfego ou com a AT recolhida. Nos primeiros 10 dias da operação, em fevereiro, 40% dos veículos abordados estavam nessas condições. Ao longo do período, essa porcentagem foi sendo reduzida e caiu para 8% na segunda semana de abril, representando uma queda de 80% em relação ao início da fiscalização.
De acordo com o superintendente de Mobilidade de Belo Horizonte, André Dantas, esse era o objetivo principal da operação. “Essa redução substancial no número de veículos flagrados sem AT, que era um dos focos dessa operação, mostra a eficácia das medidas implementadas, não apenas em garantir o cumprimento das normas vigentes, mas também em melhorar a qualidade do serviço oferecido aos usuários do transporte coletivo de Belo Horizonte”, destaca o superintendente da Sumob.
A ação nas portas de garagem é uma etapa da política de Tolerância Zero em relação às empresas de ônibus da capital e tem como foco principal os veículos que estão trafegando sem autorização de tráfego (AT) ou que têm maior número de reclamações registradas no canal de WhatsApp.

A política de Tolerância Zero foi anunciada pelo prefeito Fuad Noman em 25 de janeiro e, desde então, as ações de fiscalização do transporte coletivo foram intensificadas em toda a cidade. Além das autuações e do recolhimento das autorizações de tráfego, as empresas concessionárias não recebem a remuneração complementar quando não cumprem as determinações da Lei 11.458/2023 em relação à pontualidade e qualidade dos veículos.
