A Azul inicia a venda de passagens às cidades de Varginha, Teófilo Otoni, Patos de Minas, Paracatu e Juiz de Fora, partindo do Aeroporto Internacional de Belo Horizonte. Esta nova operação tem o objetivo de oferecer maior praticidade e conforto aos clientes do interior mineiro.
A Azul Conecta será responsável por operar os voos que conectarão as cinco cidades à capital do Estado, Belo Horizonte. Os voos acontecerão a bordo das aeronaves modelo Cessna Grand Caravan, com nove assentos, a partir do dia 12 de dezembro. Em 2023, os voos para Juiz de Fora serão nas aeronaves ATR 72-600, com capacidade para 70 Clientes.
Em resposta ao desenvolvimento das regiões que cercam as cidades de Varginha, Patos de Minas, Paracatu e Teófilo Otoni, nesse início de operação serão três voos semanais para o Aeroporto Internacional de Belo Horizonte. “O nosso aeroporto é um hub, um centro de distribuição de voos que está sempre perto das pessoas, pronto para ampliar destinos e encurtar distâncias. O aumento da conectividade da Azul no nosso aeroporto traz grande satisfação, mostra a confiança na nossa gestão e que estamos no caminho certo para oferecer a melhor experiência aeroportuária aos nossos clientes”, ressalta o diretor de Operações e Infraestrutura da BH Airport, Herlichy Bastos.
“Nós estamos felizes com esses novos destinos em Minas Gerais. Por acreditar no potencial destas rotas, assim que iniciarmos a operação de fato, o nosso próximo objetivo será aumentar ainda mais a oferta de voos para esses municípios. E, se esta demanda crescer, nós poderemos avaliar outras novas ofertas, e assim alimentarmos nossa conectividade na capital. Gostaria de agradecer ao BH Airport e o Governo do Estado por esta parceria”, comenta César Grandolfo, gerente de Relações Institucionais da Azul.
“Sem conexão, não há desenvolvimento regional. Pensando nisso, o Governo de Minas concluiu esta importante negociação com a Azul, a fim de aumentar a oferta de voos regionais em nosso estado. A iniciativa insere as cidades no mapa de desenvolvimento, atrai novos investimentos e impulsiona os já existentes. Isso tudo colabora para um ambiente favorável, gerando ainda mais prosperidade e qualidade de vida aos cidadãos. Além disso, é um passo importante também para o fomento do turismo, já que o novo hub conecta não somente as cidades contempladas à capital mineira, mas ao mundo”, celebra o secretário de Estado de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Fernando Passalio.
Atualmente, partindo do Aeroporto de Confins, a Azul já atua em 37 cidades. Com esta nova operação, partindo do mesmo aeroporto, serão 42 cidades com conexões no estado mineiro. As passagens poderão ser adquiridas via Central de Relacionamento Azul (4003-11 para capitais e regiões metropolitanas e 0800 887 1118 para demais localidades), site VoeAzul ou em qualquer agência de viagens parceira.
