Na madrugada desta terça-feira, 10 de outubro, um ônibus de turismo tombou na BR-040, em Simão Pereira, a 30 km de Juiz de Fora, deixando 40 pessoas feridas.
O ônibus, que fazia o trajeto do Rio de Janeiro para Belo Horizonte, perdeu o controle, deixando 37 vítimas leves e três vítimas graves. As vítimas foram levadas para hospitais da região.
A empresa de fretamento Diretriz, que estava a serviço de Buser, prestou apoio aos passageiros e aos motoristas envolvidos no acidente. O Corpo de Bombeiros, a Polícia e a concessionária Concer também participaram da ocorrência.
A Buser afirmou à TV Integração que a viagem estava dentro do modelo de fretamento colaborativo e que não havia irregularidades, reforçando sua legalidade com jurisprudência favorável em tribunais no Brasil.
