Empenhado em universalizar o transporte aéreo e ampliar a conectividade do mercado doméstico, o ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, anunciou, em evento realizado na manhã desta quarta-feira (10), o retorno das operações aéreas comerciais interligando Porto Velho, em Rondônia, a Belo Horizonte e Porto Velho. Os novos voos passam a operar nessas rotas a partir do dia 4 de outubro deste ano.
Inicialmente, serão realizadas duas decolagens por dia interligando esses destinos. Os voos serão operados com aeronave modelo Airbus 320, que possui capacidade de transportar até 174 passageiros.
Silvio Costa Filho destacou que a ampliação de voos é fundamental para o desenvolvimento do país, em especial da região Norte. “Nós estamos trabalhando, cada vez mais, para levar conexões aéreas para todos os estados brasileiros, para que a gente possa trazer mais turistas, não só o turista de lazer, mas o turismo de negócio, porque isso fundamental para a economia”, indicou.
A expansão do transporte aéreo no estado é fruto do intenso diálogo que o Governo Federal tem tido constantemente com as principais aéreas brasileiras com intuito de ampliar o serviço aéreo aos brasileiros.
O Ministro ainda reforçou a importância do trabalho conjunto com os governos estaduais e municipais. “Esse é o nosso desafio, trabalhar conjuntamente, quero agradecer ao governo do Estado por reduzir também a alíquota do ICMS para 3%, isso vai melhorar a competitividade, vai estimular as nossas companhias aéreas”, disse.
Para Fábio Campos, vice-presidente Institucional da Azul, a companhia sempre viu a região como estratégica para receber investimentos de voos. “Mesmo sendo uma área muito sensível a condições climáticas adversas, o que pode impactar diretamente a operação aérea, a Azul está empenhada em encontrar soluções para ampliar a presença em Rondônia e oferecer serviços de qualidade e conectar os moradores. Entendemos que a aviação vai além do transporte de Clientes, e é um fator importante para o desenvolvimento social e econômico em qualquer região”, explicou.
Para o coordenador da Bancada Federal de Rondônia, deputado Maurício Carvalho, a retomada de voos no estado é um marco que precisa ser comemorado por toda a população, não apenas pela integração com os demais estados, mas dar outras opções de logísticas ao povo rondoniense. “Este avanço é mais uma conquista na nossa luta pelo aumento dos voos das empresas aéreas e pela redução dos altos valores das passagens aéreas. Isso é apenas o início de todas as conquistas que estão por vir”, frisou.
Novos investimentos
Silvio Costa Filho lembrou que o plano para universalização do modal aéreo tem como um dos pilares o desenvolvimento da infraestrutura dos aeroportos nacionais. Ele indicou também que os aeroportos de Rio Branco e Cruzeiro do Sul estão passando por obras de melhorias que serão finalizadas até o final deste ano. “O povo brasileiro tem uma dívida histórica com a região Norte do Brasil e é por isso que a gente possa cada vez mais alavancar investimentos em infraestrutura, para melhorar a qualidade de vida da população”.
