Os feriados do Natal e Réveillon são responsáveis pela alta na movimentação. Entre 22 de dezembro de 2023 e 2 de janeiro de 2024, são esperados 313 mil passageiros no terminal internacional mineiro. Os dias-pico serão as sextas, dias 22 e 29, e segunda, dia 2, no retorno do feriado, com média de 32 mil passageiros por dia.
O maior volume de voos extras previstos para esse período fica com a Azul, contabilizando 143 partidas adicionais, seguida pela Gol, que terá 45 voos extras. Cidades de praia do Nordeste seguem sendo os locais preferidos dos mineiros. O destino que mais terá incremento no número de voos partindo do BH Airport será João Pessoa (PB), com 24 partidas extras, seguido por Porto Seguro (BA), com 23 voos adicionais, e Maceió (AL), com 16. Além desses, Cabo Frio (RJ), Jericoacoara (CE), Natal (RN), Foz do Iguaçu (PR) e Recife (PE) também tiveram um reforço no número de voos.
“No próximo dia 16, iremos retomar a rota direta para Buenos Aires, operada pela Gol, totalizando oito destinos internacionais na nossa malha aérea internacional”, ressalta o diretor de Operações do BH Airport, Herlichy Bastos. “Também destacamos a inauguração de mais duas rotas inéditas operadas pela Azul: Linhares (ES) e Salinas (MG), fechando o ano com a conexão do BH Airport a 13 cidades do interior de Minas Gerais”, acrescenta, reforçando o compromisso do aeroporto em fortalecer o hub de conectividade doméstica, regional e internacional, ampliando a oferta de voos na alta temporada e proporcionando a melhor experiência aeroportuária aos clientes.
