A Operação Rodovida Carnaval 2023, realizada pela Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), terá início à 00h01 do dia 17 de fevereiro (sexta-feira) e término às 23h59 do dia 22 de fevereiro (quarta-feira). Com foco na diminuição de acidentes e reforço do efetivo em locais estratégicos, a operação mobilizará ações em todas as regiões do Estado.
Formato da Operação
Além dos 800 policiais do efetivo da PRF em MG, contará também com o reforço de 12 agentes vindos de Brasília (DF). A fiscalização contará com o apoio de um helicóptero na configuração policial.
As ações da PRF estarão focadas: na prevenção de acidentes, em uma resposta rápida para garantir fluidez ao trânsito e no combate às infrações de trânsito, em especial às condutas geradoras de acidentes como: as ultrapassagens proibidas, o excesso de velocidade, dirigir sob influência de álcool, transitar pelo acostamento, dentre outras.
Alcoolemia
Sabemos que no feriado de Carnaval há, infelizmente, uma tendência de elevação no consumo de álcool. Por isso, a PRF dará ênfase no combate à embriaguez ao volante com uso de etilômetros tradicionais e passivos.
Vale lembrar que dirigir sob influência de álcool é uma infração gravíssima punida com suspensão do direito de dirigir por doze meses e multa de R$ 2.934,70. A multa e a apreensão da CNH também serão aplicadas ao condutor que se negar a fazer o teste no etilômetro.
Restrições de tráfego
Para melhorar a fluidez e a segurança nas rodovias federais durante o feriado prolongado, o tráfego de alguns veículos de carga será restringido em determinados dias e horários, nas rodovias de pista simples. Não poderão transitar veículos ou combinações de veículos, passíveis ou não de Autorização Especial de Trânsito (AET), ou Autorização Específica (AE), cujo peso e dimensões excedam qualquer um dos seguintes limites:
2,6 metros de largura – 4,4 metros de altura – 19,8 metros de comprimento – 57 toneladas de PBTC
Confira abaixo os dias e horários das restrições:
- 17/02 – sexta-feira das 15h às 22h
- 18/02 – sábado das 06h às 12h
- 22/02 – quarta-feira das 06h às 12h
Observação: O motorista que descumprir a determinação será multado em R$130,16 (infração média), receberá 4 pontos na CNH e terá o veículo retido.
