Os metroviários aprovaram uma greve que deve durar 48 horas, ou seja, vai afetar o sistema de transporte nesta quarta e quinta-feira, dias 05 e 06.
A categoria protesta contra a privatização da Companhia Brasileira de Trens Urbanos (CBTU) de Minas Gerais.
O leilão de concessão do sistema está marcado para o dia 22 de dezembro de 2022. O contrato será de 30 anos pelo valor de 7,77 bilhões e os investimentos devem ser na ordem de R$ 4 bilhões.
Os metroviários temem em perder os seus empregos com a privatização do sistema.
Linhas de ônibus foram reforçadas para dar suporte aos passageiros que são afetados pela greve.
